Biography

Behnam Vakhshouri is a researcher on the structural division of Centre for built Infrastructures studies (CBIR) on the University of era Sydney (UTS). He received MSc in the structural engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He has his expertise in the application of the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to optimize the mixture design and evaluate the mechanical properties of different types of concrete. He has publications on the application of ANFIS in self-compacting concrete, high-strength concrete lightweight self-compacting concrete. His other research interests include the verification of existing mathematical models of cementitious materials with ANFIS, time-dependent deflection of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete slabs and concrete technology.
