Biography
Shaukat Wasi has his expertise in Natural Language Processing and Human Computer Interaction. His specialized contribution is towards development of an event detection model for social text streams specially focused on emails. He has recognition of his research work in Information Extraction, Text Classification and Mining, and Human Cognition. Recently he is involved in developing a query formulation system that will help to formalize patient queries in order to assist machine diagnosis of disease and automatic extraction of relevant researched medication. Moreover he is recently working on natural language issue of local languages like Urdu.
