Anwar Irmatov has a wide range of expertise from algebraic topology and functional analysis to threshold logic, machine learning, and biometrics. He is the author of F-topology and IM-topology in the spaces of Fredholm and compact operators correspondingly. He suggested a combinatorial-probabilistic construction and application of combinatorial-topological methods to obtaining one of the best lower bound for the number of threshold functions. He leaded a team in S1 Co. Ltd. for creation face recognition algorithms that were successfully used in access control systems at G-20 and Nuclear safety summits in Korea. His researches on face recognition algorithms was rewarded by Award of Merit at the Samsung Best Paper Award Competition. He is an associate professor at the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Irmatov has a PhD in mathematics from Lomonosov MSU and earned Executive MBA degree from IEDC Bled School of Management.

Behnam Vakhshouri is a researcher on the structural division of Centre for built Infrastructures studies (CBIR) on the University of era Sydney (UTS). He received MSc in the structural engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He has his expertise in the application of the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to optimize the mixture design and evaluate the mechanical properties of different types of concrete. He has publications on the application of ANFIS in self-compacting concrete, high-strength concrete lightweight self-compacting concrete. His other research interests include the verification of existing mathematical models of cementitious materials with ANFIS, time-dependent deflection of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete slabs and concrete technology.

Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System

I work in the area of Applied mathematics, focusing on implementation of parallel algorithms on a cluster computer. I have published more than 40 articles in various international journals and conference proceedings. My contribution deals specifically with the implementation and applications of computer algorithms in order for effective mathematical software. Currently, I improved and implement some parallel algorithms for the solution of linear systems and solution of BVPs on a cluster of silicon graphics workstations. Also, I adapted a model in Three-Species Dynamics Food Chain. Interesting preliminary results are already achieved and published. Future experimental work is needed to support this model.

Dr. Chen is a Professor of Information Management at National Taichung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He received his PhD from Information Management from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan. His current research interests include artificial intelligent, soft computing, bio-inspired computing, data mining, deep learning, context-awareness, machine learning, and financial engineering, with more than 100 publications in these areas. He has co-edited 12 special issues in International Journals (e.g. Computers in Human Behavior, Applied Soft Computing, Soft Computing, Information Fusion, Neurocomputing, Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering, The Electronic Library, Library High Tech).
